Planning - Brand Image

As we are now planning our music video and artist, we have to create the correct brand image for our band in order for them to appeal to the mass audiences. Our brand image is:

  • Indie Rock and Roll
  • Having a good time
  • Having 'fun'
  • Rebelious
  • Cool
  • Sex/Drugs/Rock and Roll
  • Experiementing
  • Being young (not wanting to grow up)
As our target audience is 15-25, this brand image suits our target audience very well as teenagers and young adults are all about having fun, being young, experiementing. Overall, having a good time!
The main section of our brand image is Rock and Roll, having fun, being cool and being young. This will be the parts that appeal to our mass audience and our seconday audience and it fits very well with the teenager and young adult stereotype today, as they are seen in society as not having a care in the world, not worring about money, out there to enjoy themselves and not have to take life too seriously.


There are many well known artists that have a very similar brand image. The band that is most well known for this brand image is; The Beatles. They have sold over 106 million copies of their singles and albums world wide. Over the years, The Beatles changed their brand image but it was still centered around Rock and Roll. The album which changed The Beatles into a well known band into a multi-platium selling band was Abbey Road.
